Welcome to Double Entendre! Find a path between the words, and discover some puns on the way! The path will connect synonyms, words with similar meanings, and homophones, words with similar pronounciations.
Try to find a path between two words in a puzzle, like boxer and jet in the puzzle to the left. If you click on boxer, two words related to boxer appear: fighter, (a boxer is a type of fighter), and dog, (a boxer is a dog breed). If you then click on fighter, you have found the path to jet and win (a fighter is a fast military jet plane).
You score the bonus points for each node in the path. The bonuses grow as the distance from the starting point, or your last mistake, increases.
The available points for a word are on the lower left side. To maximize your points, click on choices in one direction, either only going down, or only going up. However, if you cannot see the connection between the words, it can be helpful to expand both the top and bottom words, before deciding on your next move.
Remember that the connections can be synonyms, words that have the same meaning, or homophones, words that are pronounced the same way.
Have fun, and I hope you enjoy the double entendres!
